Handshake is a fictional app developed by the
UX Writers Collective for their course "UX Writing Fundamentals". Here are some samples of top-notch UX writing I did in the course.
DIALOG BOX — DESTRUCTIVE ACTION
Before
After
CHALLENGE
With destructive actions, we're asking the user if they want to cancel/delete something. It's essential to be clear and direct so the user understands the result of the action they choose.

SOLUTION

Make the primary action clear and reflect the title of the dialog box. Ensure the secondary action helps the user back
out of the destructive action.
